Reserve at Lake Lynn
Traditional homes on winding roads
Most of the recently sold homes were located in the Westlake Village subdivision on the west side of the lake. Three to four-bedroom Traditional homes built in the mid-1980s to early 90s sit on larger wooded lots along winding roads. "There aren’t many homes actually on Lake Lynn,” says Mark Parker, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Howard Perry and Walston, who used to live in the neighborhood. “There are some apartments that swarm all around the lake.” There are also some townhouses available, ranging from $615,000 to $623,000. Single-family homes start at $530,000 and go up to $781,000. Homes stay on the market for an average of 13 days.Honor courses at Wake County Public Schools
York Elementary earns an A-minus from Niche, while Leesville Road Middle receives an A score. A-rated Leesville Road High has an enrollment of around 2,550 students, and 70% of graduating students attend a four-year college. They have several honor courses, some with specialized subjects, including Marine Ecology and Sports Medicine. Scoring an A overall, the Wake County Public School System has open enrollment where students can apply to other early college and magnet schools based on their address. Zoning is subject to change based on enrollment caps.Between the inner and outer beltline

“They have kids' basketball games and a playground at the Lake Lynn Community Center," Parker says. “It’s a nice area for people to take their families.” The center also has six indoor pickleball courts, a gymnasium and a dance studio. Raleigh is known for its greenways, and there is an almost 3-mile walking trail around the lake. In the spring, Anglers come out to fish for largemouth bass and crappie. But those looking for larger green space can drive a few miles to William B. Umstead State Park, which is used for hiking and biking, as well as fishing and kayaking.Close to two major shopping and dining avenues
Along Glenwood Avenue, there are many shopping centers. Shoppers can head to Pleasant Valley Promenade for department and clothing stores. Across the street is a range of dining options from Fresh, a local ice cream shop, to O’Malley’s Pub and Restaurant. For grocery shopping, there’s Walmart and two Harris Teeters. Creedmoor Road is a busy shopping and dining thoroughfare on the other side of the neighborhood. For entertainment, there's a bowling alley, movie theater and breweries with live events nearby.
