North Randolph has some of the city’s most renowned restaurants, such as La Scala, which has served Italian dishes since 1970. “We also have 1048 Neighborhood Bar & Grill, and Fresser’s Deli is another fantastic place for breakfast and lunch on weekdays until 2 p.m.,” Sandler says. Shoppers can drive downtown to Shaw’s or America’s Food Basket, and the South Shore Plaza, a few miles east in Braintree, has over 200 retail stores and restaurants.

Taking I-93 or the commuter rail into Boston
