Condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes comprise most of the dwellings in this neighborhood’s subdivisions. “This is an upscale older neighborhood with older homes,” says Reno-based Realtor David Tully of LPT Realty — so renovations may be something buyers may want to factor in. The average home’s cost is about $907,000, with two-bedroom homes starting around $500,000 and premium waterfront real estate on Lake Stanley selling for more than $2 million.
Lakeridge is within 2 miles of Virginia Street, a busy commercial thoroughfare that has all the essentials covered, from groceries at Trader Joe’s to clothes and apparel at Meadowood Mall. Convenience counts — it only takes a short 5-mile drive to get to the Reno-Tahoe International Airport or the heart of downtown Reno. The city’s public transportation system doesn’t reach Lakeridge, so folks should expect to get around by car.
