While shopping may be minimal in Panther Valley, there’s plenty of it just north of the community in Golden Valley. Raley’s is the go-to for groceries and everyday essentials. For people with furry friends at home, the local Pet Station carries everything needed to keep the fur babies happy. Carnieceria Tejaro may be small in size but big it’s in flavor as it serves up authentic Mexican dishes, including its birria quesadillas. Downtown Reno is just a hop and skip away down US Route 395 for more enjoyable eateries.
Flashing lights
The casino industry made Reno the Biggest Little City in the World, and residents can easily enjoy the flashing lights and ringing bells of it all. The Bonanza Casino sits right in the center of the community and has all the normal comforts a casino can offer, including dining at Cactus Creek Prime Steakhouse and Branding Iron Café. Free Play Fridays is a popular part of the week as the casino gives away $50 in free slot play every 10 minutes from 3:00 – 11:00 pm.
