Eclectic architecture and spacious lots
While condos and townhouses are commonplace in Elliott, this commuter neighborhood offers traditional, split-level, ranch-style homes. Most residential construction occurred in the early 2000s. While retail and multifamily buildings outline the neighborhood center, single-family homes line the quiet streets and cul-de-sacs in areas like Summerfield, a subdivision featuring well-landscaped lawns and a forest scenery farther east. Prices range from $750,000 to $900,000. Potential homeowners look to the Emerald Crest community for manufactured houses, which cost between $50,000 and $400,000. Multifamily housing makes up a large portion of the housing stock here. Condos go for $400,000 to $450,000, while Townhouses cost between $450,000 and $500,000. Some parts of Elliott may be inside flood zones due to proximity to Cedar River. With a score of 1 out of 10 compared to the national average of 4, this neighborhood also experiences significantly low crime rates.
