Floris is right next to the Dulles International Airport, which can make things a little noisy, but the drive home after vacation is quick. The neighborhood is about 25 miles west of Washington, D.C., making it a great location for commuters to the capital. The Herndon-Monroe Park & Ride station is about 3 miles northeast. Colonial Revival and New Traditional homes built in the 1980s and 1990s make up the majority of single-family properties in Floris. They typically cost between $800,000 and $2 million.
