Recently renovated, this community park features a large, colorful playground, covered pavilions and paved walking paths. The park’s large, open green space is commonly utilized for community festivals and events, such as the Soul Vegan Block Party and Elegba Folklore Festival. In May 2023, Abner Clay Park hosted its first Big Tent concert series in collaboration with the Richmond Symphony. Complete with a large pop-up stage, this event featuring music of noted black composers was free and open to the public.

Its okay, I personal feel like they see and hear the problems and concerns of the local area. But don't do much to solve the problem, enough is not enough to get the job done. People want to know that the are being heard and taken care of, we very little if that here.
