In May 2023, Abner Clay Park hosted its first Big Tent concert series in collaboration with the Richmond Symphony. Complete with a large pop-up stage, this event featuring music of noted black composers was free and open to the public.

Its great! we get rain every now and again. We don't get that much snow, and when spring comes around its just beautiful. Its just beautiful weather out here. I know in some places its worst.
