Many of the homes in this area were initially built in the 1920s and ‘30s and are now receiving modern updates and renovations. Oak Grove’s current market reflects its state of revitalization, with average costs comparably lower than many surrounding areas and an even mix of non-renovated and renovated homes up for sale. “The last house I sold here sold quickly,” Gurley says. “We got multiple offers, and it sold before the end of the weekend. There are definitely a lot of buyers who want to be in Oak Grove.”
