Garrett Park has a playground and splash pad
Robertsdale provides several community parks, including Garrett Park, which has baseball and softball courts, a sandy volleyball court and a soccer area. The park also has a spacious playground and kids' splash park. The town also has a green space with tennis courts and the J.D. Sellars Stadium for soccer games. Robertsdale also has a walking trail that cuts through the neighborhood. Milwaukee Street is Robertsdale's main thoroughfare, lined with grocery stores, small businesses, churches and restaurants. One of the town's most well-known eateries is the Derailed Diner. Located in the Oasis Travel Center, visitors can eat southern-style food in the dining car or grab a drink at the school bus bar. “Billy Jack’s is another favorite,” Hayek says. “They have live music so it’s a popular place to gather.”
Robertsdale is a quiet town, but the community gathers for festivals throughout the year, like the annual Honey Bee Festival. The event is in Honey Bee Park and offers craft vendors, entertainment, food trucks and a kids' area. Proceeds from the festival go to the Central Baldwin Feeder Pattern. Robertsdale is also home to the Baldwin County Fair, a county staple since 1948. At the Baldwin County Coliseum and Fairgrounds, visitors can hop on carnival rides, play games, watch livestock showcases, attend craft fairs, and eat plenty of decadent carnival food.
