A community that cares
Old Town Rocklin is a community that cares, and the residents back it up with action. “Our police, our fire department and really everyone cares about what happens in Old Town and always has,” says Natalie Whistler of Coldwell Banker Realty, who has three decades of experience in the neighborhood. “When I moved here 26 years ago, they wanted to put a McDonalds on our corner, and the neighborhood fought it. It was never built, and we’ve blocked several other projects over the past few decades to keep the neighborhood how we like it.” Neighbors tend to get to know one another, as 66% of residents are homeowners. Located right on Interstate 80, residents can easily commute 20 miles southwest to Sacramento for work or entertainment.
