Quiet suburban living alongside an airport and a university
The Lewis University neighborhood shares its name with the higher education institution it surrounds. The school, a private Lasallian university, is known for its aviation program. “The campus is beautiful, and the student life is diverse. It has a quiet college town vibe,” says broker Jill Petranek with Coldwell Banker Realty Naperville. “But you’ll mostly find older ranch homes in the neighborhood.” The airport’s runway stretches between homes and the campus, so residents are more likely to see planes taking off than students walking to class. Residents and students can go to restaurants and grocery stores just on the other side of the airport.
