Edenwilde’s gardens and greenery were so meticulously planned that the neighborhood’s developer, Fairgreen, was recognized by the National Association of Homebuilders for its landscaping. The appeal of the swim and tennis community lies in its mature trees, lakes and highly rated schools, says former area resident Tara Kurtz, a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. “Homebuyers love the traditional 1990s brick homes that give a more cozy, traditional vibe than modern house styles. They also enjoy the trees, which are pretty and very lush, especially in the spring,” she says. The neighborhood’s 400 brick homes are situated along hilly roads in the suburban Fulton County.

Two-story brick and stucco contemporary colonial homes line streets that end in cul-de-sacs. Prices in Edenwilde range from $690,000 to $1.2 million. Basements and multicar garages are standard features. Decks and screened-in porches overlook fenced backyards, lakes or mature trees on lots less than a half-acre. “It’s really a cookie-cutter neighborhood, but not in a boring way,” says Jamie Grace Miller, a seasoned area Realtor with Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty. Houses average 11 days on the market. The neighborhood’s CAP Index Crime Score is 2 out of 10, lower than the national average score of 4.

Tennis, swimming and basketball off Edenwilde Road
A basketball court and six lighted tennis courts surrounded by trees are near the neighborhood’s Edenwilde Road entrance. Across the parking lot, the eight-lane competition pool is home to the Edenwilde Barracuda swim team. Kids can play in a large sandbox or glide down the gravity rail swing at the Sweet Apple Park, less than a mile away on Crabapple Road. A mile-long gravel jogging trail in the park is lined with exercise equipment.

Highly rated schools and state championships at Milton High
The neighborhood is part of Fulton County Schools, which gets an A on Niche. Students may attend the A-rated Sweet Apple Elementary School and the A-minus-rated Elkins Pointe Middle School. They head to Milton High School, rated A, where students thrive on and off the field. The Eagles’ girls lacrosse team has won 17 straight state championships, while the football team had a repeat title in 2024. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade can apply to the A-rated Fulton Academy of Science and Technology, which emphasizes STEM learning. Georgia’s school choice allows students to attend schools outside of their base assignments.
Elkins Point Middle School serves surrounding Roswell students grade 6-8.

Edenwilde is 5 miles north of Highway 19, which travels 27 miles south into downtown Atlanta. Roswell’s historic downtown district is 5 miles south on Crabapple Road. Cobb County International Airport at McCollum Field is 18 miles away via Sandy Plains Road and the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is 40 miles south. Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center is a 4-mile drive south.
