Smaller public parks dot the neighborhood, including Burberry Park, which has a butterfly garden, soccer fields and courts for basketball and tennis. On the east side, Cottonwood Park has a shaded playground and a picnic area with a gazebo. The Sacramento River is a few miles west. “The Sacramento River is another big attraction,” Amen says. “People go there for fishing and boating.”
