Robin Glen-Indiantown is a rural community near Saginaw
East of Saginaw in the countryside of Buena Vista Township, Robin Glen-Indiantown is a blend of two communities. Robin Glen is a mobile home community with amenities; Indiantown has single-family homes among acres and acres of harvest. “I had buyers who moved to the neighborhood from Saginaw. They wanted more of a country setting, and this is the perfect place for that," says Austin Kerridge, a Realtor with Knockout Real Estate who was born and raised in the Saginaw region. "You’ve got the peaceful tranquility of all the farmland.” The laid-back, rural area is nevertheless only about a 10-minute drive to downtown Saginaw.
Mobile homes in Robin Glen and rural houses in Indiantown
Mobile homes in Robin Glen typically have two to three bedrooms and come with storage sheds. They range from $75,000 to $95,000. A few properties around the perimeter face wide-open farmland. Meanwhile, ranch-style homes, Cape Cods and farmhouses out in the countryside of Indiantown are few and far between and don’t sell very often. Most were built between the early and mid-1900s, now selling selling for $150,000 to $170,000. “My aunt actually lives in Indiantown,” says Kerridge. “She rented for a while, but loved the ruralness of the area so much that she decided to buy the house."
On average, homes stay on the market for 14 days, considerably lower than the national average. The neighborhood also has a CAP Index crime score of 1, the lowest possible score.
Community amenities, a rail trail and a pumpkin farm
Residents of Robin Glen enjoy the community’s amenities. They can have fun in the playground and surrounding grassy field, cool off in the pool or warm up by the indoor fire pit at the clubhouse. The Harger Line Rail-Trail runs through, where people can walk, jog or ride their bikes for 10 miles through Saginaw County’s rural countryside. Johnson’s Pumpkin Farm attracts people from the neighborhood and surrounding Saginaw region during fall. “Johnsons Pumpkin Farm has been around forever,” says Kerridge. “Thousands of people from all over come every year. It’s really the only time people come to Indiantown.” Every year, visitors pick out pumpkins while also navigating the corn maze, eating homemade fry cake doughnuts and attending weekend events, including a craft fair and a car show.

There’s a McDonald’s, Wendy’s and a Dollar General. Pride and Country Village, an established local gift shop and deli, is also about 3 miles away.
