More active visitors can walk or ride along the hiking and biking trails. “Some of the bike paths in St. Charles go all the way up to Wisconsin,” Wallace says. Find a quiet spot to fish along Fox River. Not too far away, Rivers Edge/Reserve Park has more recreational activities to participate in, including a basketball court and lacrosse field. Its giant grassy field is great for tossing a frisbee or playing with pets.
