Dutch Colonials alongside bungalows in Ellendale
Ellendale features an eclectic mix of homes dating through all eras of American history. Historical homes dating back to the 19th century are a rarity because of a gas explosion in 1904 that destroyed many of the originals, but there are still some that homebuyers can find on the market. Twentieth-century Dutch Colonials with gambrel roofs are nestled beside siding bungalows. Residents can enjoy front porches with front steps leading to the sidewalks regardless of when homes were built. Many houses lack garages, so street parking is more common though some homes do have driveways. Most homes here list $120,000 and $350,000, with larger homes pricing higher.Museums and walking trails around Ellendale
