Originally built in the wake of the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, every home in Kings Oak was constructed in the early 1900s, giving the residential areas a historical quality. The most common house styles are Dutch Colonial Revivals and Craftsman, and prices start around the mid-$200,000s, while a freshly remodeled home may carry a price tag in the high $300,000s.
