A quiet community
Sappington isn’t one of St. Louis’ most high-profile neighborhoods, but that’s why those who live here choose to call it home. This quiet community is known for its great public schools and moderate-sized homes. “Sappington is a great community to grow a family in or retire to,” says Katherine Haseltine, a Realtor with Realty Executives. “This area has the best schools in the St. Louis suburbs, popular local shopping, restaurants, coffee spots and a great local park.”
Sappington’s quiet streets feature mature trees and mid‑century homes.

House styles
Sappington houses are priced lower than most St. Louis suburbs. Houses ranging from 1,000 to 1,500 square feet sell for between $200,000 and $300,000, while similarly sized townhouses sell for under $200,000. The neighborhood has winding streets lined with split-levels and ranch-style houses from the mid-1900s and custom-built houses from the 2000s. Tall, established trees keep the streets shaded during hot Missouri summers and showcase seasonal changes throughout the year.

Nice little unincorporated neighborhood. I wish there were more sidewalks though, and there are a lot of dead end streets. Fairly quiet and very good public schools.
