The high school is home to the Academy of Information Technology, which aims to prepare students with the skills they need for careers in IT. “The schools are a big draw,” says Heather Edwards, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Advantage, who’s been selling homes in the area for five years. “The people I’ve sold to tend to want to have their kids there. It’s a more rural area with a lot of family-oriented things to do.”
