Euclid-Saint Paul
Close to mom and pops and a vibrant business district
Shops and restaurants surround the neighborhood, primarily along Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and 16th streets. The colorful Flamingos Sports Bar is an old-school tavern that’s the go-to for beer, cocktails and pool tournaments. French restaurant The Left Bank Bistro provides a more upscale experience, serving sandwiches, seafood and cocktails. The eatery’s cocktails are inspired by French artists and singers. Pineapple Espresso is a local favorite for small-batch roasted coffee, avocado toast and pastries. Trip’s Diner is a long-time community staple. Named after the owner’s triplets, this diner-style eatery serves homestyle American dishes like sandwiches, salads and breakfast dishes. Family Dollar provides essentials in the neighborhood, and the 4th Street Corridor, 2 miles northwest, has more shopping and dining options. The busy commercial corridor is home to Publix, Trader Joe’s and Fresh Market. There’s also a diverse selection of cuisines, from authentic Mexican fare at Grand Hacienda, a no-frills seafood shack at Fourth Street Shrimp Store and sweet treats at Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream.Historic bungalows and Craftsman-style homes dating to the 1920s
Niche ranks Euclid-St. Paul’s is the fifth-best neighborhood in St. Petersburg. The magnolia and oak-lined neighborhood has its original brick-lined streets and is known for its preserved historic homes. “The houses around there have so much character, too, especially the old homes that have been remodeled,” says Elizabeth Zamora-Peña, Realtor with Florida Real Estate Associates, serving St. Petersburg for over three years. Euclid-St. Paul's is mostly filled with Florida-style bungalows, two-story Craftsman-style homes and colonials dating to the 1920s. There are also some contemporary and Mediterranean-inspired builds. The community also provides duplexes and triplexes in the northeastern section. Prices range from the low $500,000s for a 1,000-square-foot two-bedroom to the low $900,000s for a 1,800-square-foot three-bedroom. Newer builds are primarily 2,500-square-foot four-bedrooms that start around $1 million. Historic homes have kept much of their original designs, like columned porches, wrought iron detailing and other ornate features. Most homes have rear garage parking, in-ground pools and tropically landscaped fenced-in yards. Lot sizes are small, averaging around 7,000 to 8,000 square feet. Residents are within walking or biking distance of Woodlawn and Crescent Lake parks, a church, restaurants, public transit and convenience stores.Parks within walking distance

Its biggest event is the haunted hike and ghost tour in October. The tour takes participants to several neighborhood homes with a spooky past, according to local lore. St. Paul’s Catholic Church and St. Paul's Catholic School sit at the heart of the neighborhood. The church hosts the St. Paul Festival, an annual event that’s been a tradition for nearly 100 years. Held every April, the festival is a four-day celebration featuring rides, games, food and entertainment.Downtown St. Pete is less than 3 miles away
