Children attend Pinellas County Schools, beginning at Azalea Elementary, which was given a B grade and named a Standout Elementary School by Niche. Azalea has a 12:1 student-to-teacher ratio, which is much better than the national average. Kids move to Tyrone Middle School, which has a C-plus rating by Niche, before attending Boca Ciega High. Boca Ciega has an A-minus rating and was named one of the top 100 schools in Florida for college prep.
Boca Ciega High has 1,469 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 19-to-1.

Locals can head to Northwest Park for plenty of recreational activities. “A lot of families actually live within walking distance to Northwest Park, and there are plenty of events happening there,” says Possidente. Many youth baseball games take place at the park, and the playground is great for kids. There are tennis and pickleball courts, as well as sand volleyball courts. The Northwest Community Pool is a great place to cool off, with lanes available for lap swimming and four slides. The J.W. Cate Recreation Center has a gym for an indoor workout or playing basketball.
