Lake Euclid
Suburban Neighborhood in Saint Petersburg, Florida
Pinellas County 33713
Bungalows and coastal two-story homes dating back to the 1920s
Lake Euclid’s quiet, narrow streets appeal to newcomers with its dense canopy of red cedars, red maples and palm trees, providing plenty of shade and privacy. The neighborhood is filled with historic Florida-style bungalows, two-story coastal cottages and some modern construction sprinkled throughout. While houses in Lake Euclid were built between the 1920s and 1950s, most have been remodeled, keeping their original charm on the outside while providing all the benefits of a modern build on the interior. “The houses around there have so much character, especially the old homes that have been remodeled,” says Elizabeth Zamora-Peña, Realtor with Florida Real Estate Associates, serving the area for over three years. Prices range from the mid-$200,000s for a three-bedroom over 1,000 square feet to the high-$600,000s for a four-bedroom over 2,200 square feet. Newer modern builds and custom homes can go for nearly $900,000. Homes have rear garage parking and fenced-in lawns with tropical landscaping. Lot sizes average around 6,000 square feet but span up to 8,000 square feet. There’s enough room to park on the street, but most homes have driveways.Less than 2 miles from trendy shops and restaurants
Most shopping and dining options are located along the 4th Street Corridor, less than 2 miles east and 2 miles west across Interstate 275. A local favorite, Trip’s Diner is a family-owned spot serving the community breakfast comfort foods and sandwiches since 2012. It was voted “Best of the Best” in the region by the Tampa Bay Times in 2023. Calida Kitchen and Wine offers a more upscale option, serving dishes like chorizo empanadas, branzino and blank steak with a wide wine selection. “The owners pull from their heritage and travel all over to provide an elite wine and dining experience,” Sidwell says. Grumpy Gringo is 2 miles west and is a highly-rated eatery known for its birria tacos, chimichangas and hibiscus margaritas. Three Birds Tavern, Burger Monger and Fourth Street Shrimp Store are also popular 4th Street spots. For nightlife, downtown offers diverse options, including The Saint, a speakeasy that’s won Tampa Bay’s Best Bar two years in a row, and The Ale and The Witch, a partially outdoor venue with frequent live music. 4th Street Corridor also has essentials, including Public and Fresh Market. The 34th Street Plaza shopping center is directly west of Highway 19 and has Sam’s Club, Office Depot, Bank of America and Dollar Tree.
