A small coastal community near St. Petersburg
Shore Acres offers people paradise-style living and a secluded location tucked next to Old Tampa Bay. “It’s a community of only about 6,000 houses, which makes it a low-crime area,” says Clay Glover, owner of Glover Real Estate Group, who has selling homes in the area for over a decade. “There are really only two ways in and two ways out since it’s tucked away. Everyone feels safe and secure back in here.” While Shore Acres has no public transportation for commuters, people can utilize the many bike lanes that sit along 40th Avenue, Shore Acres Boulevard, and more local roads. The community hosts many annual and monthly events, which helps push the neighborly feel between residents in this secluded coastal oasis.

You can’t really do that in a lot of other places.” Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grill is one of the few restaurants that people boat to and offers fresh seafood and a premium rum selection.
