Homes & employers 10 miles from downtown San Antonio

A mix of residential and industrial space, the Goldfield community is just 10 miles northeast of downtown San Antonio. Within Goldfield is a large industrial park that contains distribution centers and warehouses. Regarding if the industrial activity impacts residents, “I don’t think so,” says Katie Griffin-Ross, San Antonio native and third-generation Realtor at RE/MAX Associates. “There’s a truck distribution center for H-E-B, but not near the residential area.” Major employers within the industrial center include Frito-Lay warehouse and H-E-B meat processing plant. Additionally, Goldfield is centrally located for folks who work at Randolph or Lackland Air Force Base.
