The neighborhood features a mix of single-family homes built throughout the 1970s and ‘80s lining sidewalk-lined streets. The layout of the neighborhood – which is primarily cul-de-sacs and short residential streets – lends itself to walking, whether for exercise or relaxation. And the age of homes in the neighborhood means that they are often ripe for updating. “There’s been a lot of renovation there as far as taking homes, building them up and flipping them,” Paris says. Heritage Duck Pond Park anchors the community as a destination for outdoor recreation.
