San Antonio is the fifth biggest city in Texas and residents can use the VIA Metropolitan public transportation agency to get around. While there is a public bus there are no direct stops near the Hunter's Chase neighborhood and are a few miles away by vehicle; residents find it easier to drive their own vehicles.
Plenty of cultural celebrations
Popular events in San Antonio include the Poteet Strawberry Festival, a farmer's market with rides every year during the second week of April since 1948. In February events such as Mardis Gras parade takes over downtown San Antonio. The San Antonio Fiesta Parade is held on the 4th Saturday of April annually.
