Cozy San Antonio neighborhood close to downtown
Five miles north of downtown San Antonio, buyers can find the cozy community of Los Angeles Heights – Keystone, where charming cottages offer affordable single-family housing. “One of the key factors that brings buyers here is its proximity to a lot of the universities and colleges,” says Tasha Koltermann, who’s been selling real estate in San Antonio for over 20 years. “It’s close to Our Lady of the Lake University and St. Mary’s University, which are some of the oldest universities in San Antonio.” She adds that the area’s equidistance between downtown and San Antonio’s medical center attracts a population of healthcare professionals and that proximity to the nearby Woodlawn Lake Park is another major selling point. Within the neighborhood, though, residents have access to everything they need: a local playground, Tex-Mex restaurants, houses filled with friendly neighbors and a neighborhood H-E-B.
