Locals are also just 12 miles from Boerne for more things to do. “Boerne has the feel of a small-town vibe. There are the local bars, and good restaurants. The Cibolo Trail can be accessed at the Cibolo Center for Conservation on City Park Road, which spans over 3 miles of paved pathways. Bikers, runners and walkers appreciate the views of the babbling Cibolo Creek, surrounded by towering Juniper and Oak trees. Out of a handful of places to golf, the private Dominion Country Club and Fair Oaks Ranch Golf & Country Club are just across from Interstate 10. On Milsa Drive, Friedrich Wilderness Park is characterized by a hilly terrain of deep ravines and orchid fields surrounded by 10 miles of trails. A big attraction nearby is the Cascade Caverns west of I-10, drawing visitors to wander "down under" to observe millions of years of rock formations.Events at Rose Palace
The San Antonio Rose Palace is on Boerne Stage Road, a 4,500-seat multi-use arena hosting everything from rodeos to equestrian shows, square dancing and cookoffs.
