New construction amid natural scenery
Natural beauty surrounding Roseheart make resident feel like they’ve left the city. This neighborhood on San Antonio’s northeast side still has plenty of untouched land within its boundaries. “This is getting out there towards Hill Country. But you’ve still got the highway, shopping and schools close by,” says Realtor Bill Gardner of Century 21 The Hills Realty, a resident of San Antonio’s northeast with four years of real estate experience. The residential part of Roseheart consists of two subdivisions on the west side surrounded by trees and brush, while the southeast section is marked by a wooded nature preserve. Between the two is a rock quarry operated by Vulcan Materials, a producer of stone, gravel, sand and other construction materials.
Roseheart and Valencia Hills
The subdivisions — Roseheart and Valencia Hills — are gated communities offering privacy for residents. The houses here are typically 21st century designs with brick exteriors and built-in garages, some large enough to accommodate three cars. These homes offer well-maintained lawns and fenced-in backyards, providing additional serenity for homeowners. Covered front porches and backyard patios offer a place to relax and entertain guests. And for neighborhood amenities, the Roseheart Homeowner’s Association features a clubhouse where residents can enjoy the swimming pool, picnic areas and a tennis court. Home prices typically range from $475,000 and $600,000 depending on square footage and lot size.
