Convenient access to San Antonio outlets and chain restaurants

In the corner of Silver Oaks is a small shopping and dining area with a Walmart Neighborhood Market where residents can shop for basic groceries and household items. A mix of regional and national chain restaurants can be found nearby, up and down Galm Road, which borders the neighborhood. “San Antonio is doing outlet setups right now all over the city, so malls are not the big thing here anymore,” says Jo-Ann Guevara, a local real estate agent with Collective Realty. “Everywhere you go, it’s mostly the same stores. The remaining malls are about 15 to 20 minutes away.” Several convenience stores like Circle K and Walgreens also dot the roads surrounding the neighborhood.
