Stone Oak is only 17 miles north of downtown San Antonio and 10 miles north of the San Antonio International Airport. It has access to the Texas 1604 Loop, which encircles San Antonio and U.S. Route 281, which extends from the Mexican border by the Rio Grande to the Canadian border near Dunseith, North Dakota.
