Inner Parkside is known for its unique architectural identity. Many properties in the neighborhood were designed by San Francisco architect Oliver Rousseau, who favored bay windows and arched porticos that residents can still enjoy today. The area is served by the San Francisco Unified School District, which has an A rating on Niche. The district has a grade-A Kindergarten-12 pipeline – literally. Students can attend West Portal Elementary, Hoover Middle and Lincoln High Schools, which all earn an A rating from Niche. Lincoln High School offers a variety of activities for its students, including podcast, creative community and rowing clubs.
