The neighborhood’s namesake subdivision, Los Ranchitos, features more than 150 homes on one- and two-acre lots built in the 1940s along narrow, country roads within the steep, wooded terrain. Every student in the area is given the option to attend two stellar, A-rated high schools: San Rafael High School or Terra Linda High School.
