With a diverse range of dining, Sun Valley diners can enjoy grabbing a meal or a drink at any of the establishments in the neighborhood. Sabor a Mexico brings South of the Border dishes to the plate while Italian restaurant The Kitchen Table makes homemade pastas daily. Pond Farm Brewing is a microbrewery featuring locally brewed beers with quirky names like Surreal Appeal and Gin and the Giant Peach. Parks for hiking and relaxing
A name like Sun Valley is fitting for a place with extensive views of the landscape. When ascending the ridge at Sorich Ranch Park, residents can see Mount Tamalpais, Bald Hill and even the San Francisco Bay. The Robert Dollar Hiking Trail is both a scenic drive and a moderately challenging hike. Other nearby trails include the Abraham Trail and the Crestwood Trail. For a less demanding park experience, Sun Valley Park offers differently sized play structures for kids of all ages and large grassy areas to run around or hold picnics. Membership at the Rafael Racquet Club includes access to several swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym.
