Superstition Vistas
Suburban and country-style homes in the Sonoran Desert
With an average sales price of $506,000, homes in Superstition Vistas sell for about $80,000 dollars more than those in the surrounding area of San Tan Valley. On the eastern edge of the Phoenix metro, homes here are close to wide open spaces of the Sonoran Desert and often come with enough space to raise animals, especially towards the neighborhood's eastern portions. “When you’re in the neighborhood, it’s more of a country feel," says Sidney Palmer, a local real estate agent with Limitless Real Estate, adding that "Many of the homes come on an acre or more.” In addition to farm and ranch-style homes that sell for as low as $575,000 and feature enough land for horse stalls and corrals, Superstition Vistas is also bursting with new, suburban-style housing developments, with more subdivisions being planned all the time. Homes here often feature charming Arizona-style architecture, from red-tiled roofing and stucco finishes to multiple gables and arched entryways. Stone turrets on homes and high ceilings indoors give many homes a regal, castle-like feel. For a newly constructed, five-bedroom home featuring Spanish-Revival accents and up to 4,500 square feet, buyers can expect to pay up to $985,000 dollars.Arizona public schools in the neighborhood
