Southern Santa Maria neighborhood close to city parks and shops
Located in the southern part of Santa Maria, Entrada Este is a residential area with well-kept homes and easy access to shopping. “It’s a more desirable and more expensive area to live in than other parts of the city,” says Randy Smith, Real Estate Broker for United Agents. Residents can drive, bike or sometimes walk to stores in the Crossroads at Santa Maria, and parks with lush greenspace and reservable community centers aren’t far. Entrada Este is close to musical events in Rotary Centennial Park, and Smith says Pismo Beach is a short drive north of the area. Plenty of wineries are just south.

Some houses sit in cul-de-sacs. “It’s more of a family community,” Smith says. Single-family homes here include early 21st-century Spanish-style and new traditional properties with brick and stucco exteriors and terracotta roofs. These one to two-story homes have shaded concrete patios and spacious backyards with the occasional flower garden. Prices range between $660,000 and $830,000, depending on square footage. Many sit in HOA-controlled communities like Bradley Square, with monthly fees of up to $195.
