Homes near wetlands close to sports and shopping
The Stanley Acres neighborhood, in east Seaside, stretches across acres of wetland, though most of the homes are concentrated on a few residential streets that rest near Neawanna Creek. “It’s a really quiet neighborhood,” says Todd Braden, a broker with Soldera Properties. “There’s not really any reason to drive through it other than if you live there.” Though it may be somewhat removed from the more energetic parts of the beach town, residents enjoy easy access to a regional sports and recreation complex, an outlet mall and, in case of emergency, the Providence Seaside Hospital.
Iconic ranch style layouts can be found in Stanley Acres right off the main thoroughfare.

Craftsman cottages built before the 1920s on a quarter of an acre or more often require some repairs and can sell for between $250,000 and $325,000. New traditional homes with nostalgic Craftsman or Victorian touches were built throughout the 2000s, with new constructions as recently as 2023, can fetch between $475,000 and $500,000. Manufactured homes built in the 2010s and 2020s dot the neighborhood too, costing between $325,000 and $450,000.
Stanley Acres is near wetlands and may be at increased risk of potential flooding. Many of the homes in the neighborhood are built on short stilts or slightly elevated foundations to prevent water damage.

Music-focused bar and shopping at Seaside Outlet Mall
The Seaside Outlet Mall sprawls across half of a mile on the opposite side of the Neawanna Creek, and includes stores like the Nike Factory Store, Carter’s and the Eddy Bauer Outlet, while the Seaside Cinema screens Hollywood’s latest releases. Legends Public House is located among the mall’s stores, serving hot and cold sandwiches like the banh mi and the Legends Cubano. The restaurant’s walls are covered with posters of iconic movies and famous musicians like Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix and Johnny Cash, and live music can be enjoyed in the evenings. Across the highway from the Nike Factory Store, Grizzly Tuna keeps its menu simple with two items: fish and chips made with tuna or fish tacos, all made in a wooden drive-thru shack illuminated by string lights. For groceries, Safeway is around 1.5 miles away downtown.
