Ravenna, a convenient neighborhood
Ravenna isn’t just one of Seattle's most desirable neighborhoods for its lush green spaces and walkable access to shopping and dining. The area also offers a colorful assortment of single-family homes, some stretching back to the early 20th century. Many residents bike the quiet streets lined with evergreens and maples. Most homes have backyards large enough for lounging in a hammock with a book or setting up a barbecue. "Everyone wants to live in Ravenna," says Realtor Alexander Keyes, who sells homes in the area with A Home in Seattle, the company he founded. "It's a walkable community with beautiful mid-century homes, close to the downtown and the University of Washington."

This is a great neighborhood to grow up in. There are many good schools in the area and a lot of families. The community is very friendly and welcoming. Many neighbors have block parties multiple times a year to connect and catch up with one another. Everyone knows who lives on the block and their dogs names. I am very fortunate to have been raised in a great location.
