Pratt's Corner students attend some of the best schools in Southington. Ben Franklin Elementary School, John F. Kennedy Middle School and Southington High School are all highly rated by Niche. Ben Franklin received an overall grade of A from Niche and is ranked No. 17 in the state for elementary schools. John F. Kennedy Middle School received an overall grade of A from Niche and is ranked No. 13 in the state for middle schools. Southington High School received an overall grade of A-minus from Niche and is ranked No. 19 in the state for high schools. The school offers a rigorous academic program and a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs and the arts. The Karen Smith Academy is part of Southington High and serves students without success in a standard high school environment.

Home to several beautiful parks, including Hubbard Park where residents hike, bike, fish and picnic, Pratt’s Corner leaves visitors and residents alike visually stunned. The park is also home to the Castle Craig observation tower, which offers gorgeous panoramic views of the surrounding area. Pratt's Corner Park is a smaller park located at the heart of the neighborhood and features a playground, basketball court and picnic tables. The park is a popular spot for families to gather and enjoy the outdoors.

Residents marvel at the selection of places to fill their stomachs. Restaurants like Domenic's and Vinnie's Pizza have served up the pie and other Italian dishes for over 50 years. The Margarita Pie is a must-try! The restaurant's interior is warm and inviting, with a family-friendly atmosphere. Sam the Clams Pub and Grill is also a popular spot known for its fresh seafood and lively atmosphere. The interior is decorated with maritime memorabilia and there's a spacious outdoor patio that's perfect for dining on warm days. Fratelli's is an upscale Italian restaurant that offers a variety of classic dishes, such as pasta, seafood and steak. The interior is elegant and sophisticated, with a romantic ambiance. Those who prefer to cook on a daily basis have the local Tops Marketplace to take care of all of their ingredients and fresh fruit and vegetables. The grocery store offers a wide selection of food and household items. Other stores in the community include pharmacies, Target and other smaller retailers that are just a short drive or bus ride away in downtown Southington.

Pratt's Corner residents frequent annual events held by neighboring communities in addition to events held in Pratt’s Corner like the Corner Christmas Parade, which has fast and local marching bands before ushering in Santa himself. The nearest hospital to Pratt's Corner is Bradley Memorial Hospital, which is located about two miles away. The Connecticut Transit bus line provides public transportation service to Pratt's Corner. The bus stop is located at the corner of routes 10 and 229.
