Spring Lake is popular for its fishing and school access
Spring Lake is a small and quiet community located amid the farmland east of Indianapolis. The community shares its name with a lake that’s also a popular fishing and paddling spot for the few hundred people who live here. “The lake that runs through it is only available to residents in that area or their guests,” says Amanda Writt, a Realtor with Ever Real Estate. “Fishing was the big draw for my clients. It was so that they could fish right outside their back door. It’s just a country atmosphere and a small, tight-knit community.” Another appealing point about Spring Lake is its access to some well-rated school districts. “The New Palestine [schools] are very sought after,” Writt says. “It’s a good community to raise kids in.”
