Sit back and relax in the small borough of Saint Lawrence. The calm and leafy atmosphere is what draws people to settle down in this little town. John Gross, owner of John Gross Real Estate, moved to Saint Lawrence when he got married and has been selling homes there for more than 50 years. He says, “Saint Lawrence is a comfortable place to live. It’s a peaceful town with not a lot going on, but that’s what locals like about it.”
Homes here were built between the late 1800s and 1980s
A majority of Saint Lawrence is made up of single-family homes. Many of them were built between 1960 and 1980. They include a mix of ranch-style, split-level and colonial-style houses, selling for around $250,000 to $300,000. The borough, which was established in 1927, has several homes from the same time period and earlier. They were built between the late 1800s and 1920s, featuring colonial and Victorian-style architecture, serving as a reminder of the town’s beginnings. For around $250,000, you can marvel at the beauty of your home’s historic exterior while enjoying interior renovations with modern amenities. If you prefer a newer home, the south side of town features several 3-bedroom/3-bathroom townhouses built in the 1990s, which sell for around $230,000 to $250,000.

Natural disasters are not a concern in this area. The only issues are rough winters with annoying snow and awful thunderstorms in the summer heat.

There are opportunities for food establishments and retail work in the Exeter area. There are some small healthcare offices that are available but most quality job opportunities are closer to the Wyomissing area.

This area is very close to a police station and not too far from a fire station. It is not uncommon to see law enforcement nearby.
