Each month brings rotating live entertainment to Fourth Street, and businesses across the city’s main street join in with events and offerings made to fit a new theme each month. Locals can also find the Steubenville Farmers Market on Fourth Street, where vendors gather to sell produce, baked goods and other items directly to the public.Annual events in the city include the Steubenville Nutcracker Village, where businesses display their own uniquely themed nutcracker statues. Sunset Boulevard/Ohio State Route 822 and University Boulevard are LaBelle’s primary east-west thoroughfares, which connect to each other via Brady Avenue and McDowell Avenue/Woodlawn Road. Residents traveling northeast to Weirton can take University Boulevard to reach Veterans Memorial Bridge and U.S. Route 22; the city’s counterpart across the state line is about 5 miles away. Commutes and trips to Pittsburgh are about 40 miles.For emergency situations, the nearest hospital is Trinity Medical Center East, about 2 miles south of the neighborhood near Downtown Steubenville.
