Romancoke is filled entirely with single-family homes, with nearly 95% of residents owning their properties. Ranch-style, bi-level and new traditional are common architectural styles, and prices vary based on proximity to the water and associated amenities. Recent sales prices on most modest single-family homes fall between $400,000 and $500,000; these homes sometimes offer pools but typically not waterfront views. Large newly built homes typically sell for between $500,000 and $800,000, while expansive waterfront estates with amenities like private docks will cost between $800,000 and $1.4 million.
