Stockton's quiet residential community in Stonewood
On the northern side of Stockton, Stonewood is a quiet residential community that still feels centrally located. “It’s on the quieter side of Stockton, so there’s not a ton of things going on, but that’s part of the vibe,” says local school secretary Jennifer Plemons. “Stonewood is a more reserved part of town, but it’s a nice neighborhood for a more quiet side of life.” Residents can enjoy the rambling residential streets while still being just minutes from shopping centers and parks.

Stonewood’s streets are wider than most Stockton neighborhoods, with enough room for multiple cars. While residents can use space to park on both sides of the street, most residents have front-facing two-car garages. Instead, the wide roads and occasional trees create an open, spacious feel.
