Take the kids to Tower Road Park to climb on the colorful playground and catch some air on the swing sets. The park features a lighted multipurpose field for more spread out play or just running around to get the willies out. At 26-acre J. Lee Vause Park, kids can burn some energy at the large play area, featuring recently improved equipment that includes an expressive play area with musical instruments and a flying saucer swing. Flower lovers will bloom with joy during late summer when the American lotuses unfurl yellowish-white petals, carpeting the water’s surface with a floral sheen.
