Education at Mobile County Schools
Students in Bell Aire go to the Mobile County Public School District, which earns a B-minus grade according to Niche. Schools include Nan Gray Davis Elementary, Katherine H Hankins Middle School and Theodore High School. The elementary school earns a C-plus rating, the middle school has a C and the high school also earns a C-plus on Niche. The high school has a wide range of clubs including the Robotics Team, Scholars Bowl and Spanish Club.
Transportation around Bell Aire
About 16 miles from downtown Mobile, residents of Bell Aire can easily commute to the big city via Interstate 10 East. Locals can get around by car since there is no public transportation in the area. To get to a nearby hospital, people can travel to the Mobile Infirmary. Local wetlands and greenery at Heroes Park
Heroes Park has multipurpose outdoor recreation including ballfields, a playground and walking paths. For quality time in nature, Muddy Creek Wetlands Management Area provides hikes along boardwalks and bridges over water where some people can watch birds, beavers and other wildlife. The paths continue through old oak trees and pine groves.
Off to the races at Mobile International Speedway
The Mobile International Speedway hosts car races on a half-mile paved oval track, and it was also the filming location for scenes from “The Final Destination.” At the racetrack, residents can also celebrate at Night in Lights, drive-thru holiday lights shows for both Halloween and Christmas where children and adults alike can be mesmerized by the large displays.
