Suburban neighborhood with an active community
Quail Valley’s quiet streets are lined with similar-looking single-family homes, just 10 miles north of Thornton’s town center and about 10 miles west of Brighton. The planned residential neighborhood was established in 2002 and is looked after by the Quail Valley Owners Association. “It’s a really active community. We have a lot of open space and parks that are well-maintained,” says Real Estate Agent Melissa Lombardo with Coldwell Banker Realty, a resident of the neighborhood. Multiple walking and biking trails wind through the area and connect the parks.

Single-family homes from the 2000s
Most homes in Quail Valley sit along wide streets with sidewalks and cul-de-sacs. Grassy front lawns adorn the properties, with decorative trees adding to the landscape. “One thing that differentiates our community from others is the lot sizes. Quail Valley typically has larger lots compared to the surrounding neighborhoods,” Lombardo says. Contemporary Craftsman homes built in the 2000s are common, with bright colors, multiple gabled roofs and a front porch area. Some of these homes are single-story, while others have multiple levels. New Traditional multi-story homes are another housing type, although these tend to feature Craftsman influences, such as pointed roofs and attached garages. Prices range from $550,000 to $775,000, depending on property size.
