Locals here can also use the Pace bus for public transportation, which operates fixed routes in Tinley Park along Oak Park Avenue and 183rd Street. To experience a blast from the past, residents can walk over to J.W. Hollstein’s Saloon, a casual nightspot that’s been serving patrons since 1868 with pub grub, live music nights and a dance floor.

Downtown Oktoberfest celebration
The Village of Tinley Parks hosts an annual Oktoberfest celebration where residents can enjoy authentic German food, a variety of community vendors, live music, carnival rides and more.
