Over 500 homes in the Towson Manor Village neighborhood
The Towson Manor Village community rests east of York Road, along the few blocks that span from Towsontown Boulevard to Burke Avenue. New townhouses built in the 2010s and single-family homes from the 1920s comprise the majority of the neighborhood, while classic Baltimore red-brick row houses populate the eastern-most section. Just minutes from a cluster of downtown restaurants, Towson University and the Baltimore Beltway, the area is known for its accessibility. “The opportunities for a great life are plentiful here,” says Tom Mooney, who has 42 years of local real estate experience with O’Conor, Mooney & Fitzgerald Realtors. “There’s also a sense of community and safety.”

From new Towson townhouses to modest single-family constructions
Buyers will find a little bit of everything in Towson Manor Village’s market. “It’s a lot of townhouses, duplexes and some single-family homes, and there’s very little turnover,” Mooney says. Constructed mostly in 2012 and 2013, townhouse options typically have three floors, balconies and attached garages. Units often have three bedrooms and range from $450,000 to $600,000. Roads with single-family homes and row houses offer lawn space and a more suburban feel. Most of these properties feature front porches with seating areas and gardens. Prices for row houses fall between $250,000 and $350,000, and bungalows and Cape Cods with three and four bedrooms tend to sell from $300,000 to $550,000. The neighborhood’s overall CAP Index Crime Score of 6 out of 10, which is slightly higher than the national average of 4, results from elevated property crime scores. Violent offenses are on par with the U.S. average.
